Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Policy

Last updated: June 1, 2026

Every couple deserves a wedding planned without fear of being turned away. Every vendor and planner on Aisle Bliss must share that belief. This page is not legal boilerplate. It is a working policy we enforce.

Who this applies to

This policy applies to every account on Aisle Bliss: engaged couples, wedding planners, venues, photographers, florists, caterers, DJs, officiants, bands, stationers, rentals, transportation, hair and makeup, and every other vendor or professional listed in our directory.

Protected classes

All vendors and planners must be willing to serve couples regardless of race, color, ethnicity, national origin, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, disability status, age, marital status, immigration status, military or veteran status, pregnancy or family status, or any other characteristic protected by applicable law.

The non-discrimination pledge

By using Aisle Bliss as a vendor or planner, you agree not to discriminate in the provision of services, pricing, communication, contract terms, or any other business practice on the basis of any protected class. That includes:

  • refusing to take a booking or quote
  • charging higher prices or adding fees
  • providing inferior service or lower priority
  • making couples feel unwelcome through tone, language, or behavior
  • publishing marketing copy or imagery that excludes any protected group

Consequences of non-compliance

Violations are not warnings. A confirmed violation results in immediate removal of the listing, termination of the account, forfeiture of any featured-placement fees, and a permanent ban from future participation on Aisle Bliss. We do not issue refunds for cancelled featured placements caused by a DEI violation.

Reporting a concern

If you experience or witness discrimination on Aisle Bliss, please tell us through our contact form (pick the "Diversity, equity & inclusion" category). Share as much detail as you are comfortable with: dates, names, screenshots, email threads, and any supporting evidence. Every report is handled confidentially. You will never be retaliated against for reporting in good faith.

How we investigate

We review the evidence, contact both parties when appropriate, and make a determination based on the preponderance of evidence. We aim to respond within 5 business days. There is no appeal process for confirmed violations.

Beyond the policy

Compliance is the floor, not the ceiling. We highlight vendors who do exceptional work serving LGBTQ+ couples, multicultural and interfaith weddings, accessible weddings, and couples from communities historically underserved by the wedding industry. If that is your work, tell us in your vendor profile and on the contact form.
